Richard was articled at Field & Sons and continued in the practice of Field Overell LLP when Field & Sons merged with Overell Swain. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1978.
Richard has extensive experience in the areas of residential and commercial property, advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and landlord and tenant matters.
For 16 years Richard was Assistant and then Deputy Coroner for Warwickshire.

Simon qualified in 1981 and specialises in Wills, Probate and Care for the Elderly. He is a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners.
In acting for clients in the preparation of Wills and in Probate matters Simon gives advice on complex issues such as Inheritance Tax Planning. He also deals with Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection cases where clients need expert guidance on the management of their financial affairs.
Simon is also a Notary Public, advising clients on the preparation of and signing for documents to be used overseas.

Andrew qualified in 1992; he specialises in the areas of Civil Litigation and Personal Injury and heads the firm's Coventry office.
He is a grade A Litigator; a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is also a member of the Law Society's Expert Personal injury Panel. He has particular expertise in dealing with brain injury cases of the utmost severity. Andrew regularly acts in Multi Track cases in several areas of Civil Litigation for Claimants and Defendants. He has wide expertise in the High and County Courts.
In Personal Injury he deals with and supervises cases extending from minor injuries to injuries of great significance and Schedules of Damages in excess of £1 million.
Andrew's areas of expertise are Commercial & Chancery, Contract, Health and Safety, Personal Injury, Professional Negligence, Property Disputes and Debt Recovery. He has been building a reputation for dealing with large contested Probates with a particular interest in Indian Will disputes, having recently acted successfully for the Claimants in a disputed Will executed in the Punjab, requiring an 8 day Trial dealing with allegations of forgery, lack of due execution, want of knowledge and approval and undue influence.

Emily attained her law degree from the University of Warwick and studied the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School; she qualified as a solicitor in 2007.
Emily specialises in the area of Commercial Property and Residential Conveyancing and her clients range from first time buyers to property developers and pension funds with large portfolios of property. Emily has experience in landlord and tenant matters and can act in lease extensions, enfranchisement and shared ownership transactions.
Emily recently acted for a group of doctors in acquiring a development site to build and subsequently lease a multidisciplinary medical centre.

Kerry (LLB Hons) qualified in 2005 having trained with Field Overell LLP, however, she has worked in the field of Personal Injury since 2002. Kerry is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Kerry has experience of representing both Claimants and Defendants and
regularly attends Court advocating on their behalf. Kerry has experience
working on multi track cases, where Claimants have suffered a brain injury or
loss of limbs resulting in compensation being pleaded in excess of one million
pounds, as well as representing Claimants who have suffered minor injuries.
Kerry also undertakes work obtaining compensation for victims of crime.
In addition to her Personal Injury case load, Kerry deals with Employment
law matters and regularly advises on Compromise Agreements and also Civil
litigation matters such as enforcement proceedings, landlord and tenant
disputes, recovery of debt and contract disputes.

Séverine graduated from Thames Valley University, London, and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2005.
Séverine joined Field Overell LLP in August 2006, and was previously practising with a reputable London
firm. She has considerable experience in dealing with all family matters such as divorces, ancillary
relief (financial matters), private law children matters, cohabitation and injunctions.
Séverine is a Member of Resolution, which promotes a non confrontational approach to family
problems and which requires Members to follow a Code of Practice.
Séverine is also a Panel Member of the Family Law Accreditation Scheme which
is regulated by The Law Society. Members of this Scheme specialise in family law issues
such as divorce, separation, division of family assets, cohabitation, maintenance and family disputes.

Kate studied at Bournemouth and the College of Law Birmingham and was admitted as a Solicitor
in 2006. Kate joined Field Overell LLP in August 2009 having previously practiced in the family department
of a national firm based in Birmingham where she regularly dealt with high-value cases.
Kate is experienced in dealing with all areas of family law including divorce and related financial matters, children issues, cohabitation, pre and postnuptial,
cohabitation agreements and injunction work.
Kate is a member of Resolution and is committed to dealing with matters in a constructive manner in accordance with the Resolution Code of Practice.

Nicola obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from Keele University in 2009 and then went on to study the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham.
Having joined Field Overell LLP as a Paralegal in the summer of 2010, Nicola is now in the first year of her training contract with the firm, working in the Property, Family and Probate departments.
